trunk has water leaking into it..any help?
ok well, the other day when i took my subs out for the winter i noticed how it was wet on my carpet then i lifted the carpet to get to my spare wheel and there was a friggin puddle in there!!..i dired it all up and about a week later its there again, i cant figer out were the water is coming in from, i did a test to make sure the trunk is sealed against the weather guard and that seams good..i dont get it, so im planing on taking all the carpet out of my trunk and letting someone poor water over my trunk to see where its coming from wile im looking in through my back seats, but it mostly seems to be coming from my drivers side corner..now i notied theres a flap thing from the trunk to the inside of the bumper but i dont think thats it..anyone else had this problem?? or any other suggestions??
i deffinitly got to get the problem fixed before i do my custom tunk set up

there's two(?) drain hoses if you pull the carpet on the sides of the trunk...they're most likely loose. And as far as the flap thingy goes...no diea what it is, I just sealed it off...

The leak into your trunk could be very well coming from a missing gasket around the gas filler neck. Thats the most probable reason, considering tons of '01s had this very problem.
