Default Lease car return

I leased a 2005 civic, back bumper was damaged, and seems hard to repair. Macco said they can change aftermarket bumper for me instead of buying a new one.Does anybody know if this will be a problem when I return the car.
Thanks a lot

They can change it TO an aftermarket bumper? Or what.
I can't really understand your question.
If it is a leased car, then yea it will be a problem.

It won't be a problem as long as it looks like the original OEM bumper and the paint matches.

Dude, stay away from macco right now. Seriously bad news, they can't paint a car to save their life. I have HANDS ON EXPERIENCE, and have learned the hard way, their President Paint Job, and Executive paint job are just that, cheap, crap! Its like buying autochrome turbo kits off ebay, or those chips that claim 20hp for $6. Or if your not into tuning your car its like buying cheap off-brand toilet paper, aluminum foil, paper towels. They are just that, cheap crap. You can only polish a turd so much...ok now that I am done and I hope that you head my advice and stay way from macco....
Anyway to claim it on insurance? Call in lower your deductible......wait a couple weeks....call in and say hit and run in your driveway.....
If you get the bumper fixed by Macco the dealership is sure to notice the shinny turd on the back of your car, and no they will not be happy about it. Get it fixed by a autobody shop, if there is anyway you can claim it on insurance I would!

Holy ****
I totally missed that macco thing.
Definitly stay away from macco!!
They do little if any prep work which just leads to poor results!
They hardly ever match the paint perfect either

You can also sell or trade in the car as it is instead of returning it under the lease program. The finance company would have to be paid off the "residual value" plus possibly other fees specified in the contract. There is a small chance this option will be money ahead of repairing the car and returning it.

Yeah stay way away from Maaco. If you can find a junk car that is the right color you might be able to switch the bumper yourself and not have to paint anything.
