Default Larger Tires

I own a '00 civic coupe dx. And everything's pretty much stock on it.

Its got these disgusting 13" wheels with plastic hub caps and I want to make it a little more classy.

Everything online that I can find is larger than 13". Any problems with putting larger tires on it/ how big should I go/ Any major problems with putting larger tires on it?

not even sure if they make 13's anymore haha. safe to go 14-17 imo with no major suspension upgrades. i'd stay around that to balance money, looks and labor.. just ma .02

To keep using the generally less expensive 13 inch tires, you could get a set of plain steel 13's from an older model. They were designed with just a small metal Honda logo cap in the center. I think they look a lot better than the plastic hubcaps especially if repainted to cover any rust.

I put 17'' on my 00 EX and it rides really well still, no rubbing at all

Have you tried looking at HX rims? They are a Honda rim, and look very simple/clean. Check out pics of my old hatch on my profile. Look a hell of a lot better than steelies and hubs. You can have the lip polished and center painted to get a real nice look. And being 14 X 5.5 your not going to have rubbing issues. As for tire to go on it, 185/60-14 would probably be best fit and keep your speedo on key.
