Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum What do you think?
Anyone bought these from Tirerack? My car is 185/65/R15
The ones the car has i think are Michelin Pilot 190/60/R15
Is it safe to go back to the stock size after having a bigger tire on the wheel?
Anyone got any other recommendation perhaps. Don't know anything about tires. Are a slightly bigger tire gonna make a difference, etc... Just looking for some good quality tires at an affordable price.
I live in miami, florida where i have never seen snow so summer tires i guess would be best for me right since i don't need tires for snow. I want a really good tire that will last longer, with excellent handling and great smooth ride quality and also is not too expensive. I'd say no more than $70 a tire is gonna be good for me.
I've been looking at these since it has a High Rating of 600 A A and are one of tireracks top sellers and are affordable. Plus it has 60,000 mile warranty.

look at peoples reviews on tire rack and see what they say about them. kumho should be pretty decent tires. if you want other recommendations then check out the stickies of the tires, wheels section on this forum
also it should be safe switching back to stock wheel size. i would go with the 195/60/15 instead of the stock 186/65/15. it will just throw off your speed by maybe 1 mph

I just double checked my tires and their 195/60/15 and Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S. They are slighty better than the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum but alot more expensive.
The 185/65/15 set is $65.00 and the 195/65/15 set is $79.00.
How will this affect my MPG... and will 1 MPH difference really make a difference. I mean i do have 195/65/15 on right now and they feel good but will it change my ride comfort if i go back to the stock size? i mean $14 a tire is an extra $56 and i wanna know what i should do/

The narrower (185) tires might have a teeny tiny little better mpg. The wider (195) might have a little better grip on the road. There's a chance that 195/65's (instead of 195/60) may not clear your fenders when turning the wheel all the way to one side.
Both of these choices are so close to the same size that you should just go with the less expensive ones.
