Default Just got a 95 EX

I was looking for a forum to join to learn some about it and this looks like a good one.

I traded my CRX with an LS motor and GSR tranny for this 95 EX.
I just took the head off, (( I got it a few hours ago. )) The head is sitting on my porch. The dude said it had bent valves because the timing belt skipped teeth, now when I look at the head, I see nothing wrong with the valves, and when I look at the pistons I see no scrapes on the pistons...

I was just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me a easy way to tell if a valve is bent, because I really don't feel like taking all the valves out just to see if it is, or isn't bent.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Just a question.

Why would you trade your cr-x for a civic.

Cr-x's are so light and especially if you already had the swap with the ls engine that thing must of picked up.

Bent valves will cause you to idle really bad(Kinda studder), CEL, Rod bearing gone due to lack of oil, Knocking noise.

Do a compression test that will show if you're valves are bad.

Well the CR-X Was compleatly stripped on the inside. It had no power stearing, no a/c, no nothing pretty much, the battery was re-located to the back of the car, there was no master cylinder for the clutch, so it felt like a stage 3 clutch, but was stock, had a bad bad rod knock, and white smoke after start up. Also to top the cake, I had it for almost two weeks, and planned on working on it, but did not know the back hatch did not lock/close, woke up one day went to go work on it, and the ignition was compleatly Fed up. The idiots trying to steal it for some time didn't realize that there was no battery in the back.. So I guess they gave up. Also it had Supra tail lights it really did look bad ***, but this dude traded me and I tought I was getting outa big money pit.
