My brother bought a '06 Cobalt SS/SC earlier this year and I've seen him race a few civic's and they didn't stand a chance... if anyone has beaten one what have you done to your engine? because I want to build a quick Honda.

its a 1994 integra with a b18c1..or gsr for short...with a ice box intake/dc sport header/and a custom exhaust pippings with dyno max canister...accelarated timming and no power steering ..its pretty fast beats my 00si by alot..lol

 

i have yet to race one in my new car. i used to have a 1997 3.8 camaro and i got TOASTED by an 06 cobalt ss. about a month ago i bought a 2000 civic si that is jackson racing supercharged, aem intake, dc header, full catback so ill post here if i race one sometime soon...need to get a radar detector though cuz cops are getting awful in my area

 

yea but those radar detectors pick up a lot of false alarms i have one but its saved my *** multiple times. but i'd say it would be a pretty good match up.

 

thats b/c those ss/sc are supercharged. they have over 230hp.put a sc are a turbo on a new Si and smoke em!

 

I raced one in ocean city (one of the dumbest ideas i ever had because there where a lot of cops partolling the circuit during senior week), and I got beat. They are really fast cars, but an SI with some work done to it and a good driver should easily beat one.

 

Nah there only 205hp but god they are quick lol... my brothers best time is a 9.30 in the 1/8. my goal is to buy a 92 to 95 civic hb and drop an B20 engine in it but I'm debating if I wanna do it tho. Whats a better engine in your opinion?

 

B18C1 or a turbo B18B.
