Smile Is It Good?

Hey all I was recently interested in an apexi N1 universal muffler for my 2005 honda civic lx but i was talked out of it by my mom and got an xbox for the same price (im 16 so yah she can talk me out of things lol ) but im now looking at a 4" N1 T-304 Titanium Burnt Tip Catback Exust System for only $125 on ebay which u can see here i was wondering if this is 1. good for the money and 2. if its even legal in VA to add this to my car if you can help it would be awesome

That's a cheap no-name knockoff. I'll bet it'll have a HORRIBLE raspy sound.

X2, it'll sound terrible. If you want a nice sounding exhaust, go with a name brand. (you can find sound clips on youtube to give you an idea of which ones sound good)

Can you give me any idea what will give me the most vang for my buck (sound wise I like the sound of the apexi N1 universal)

Stick with the Apexi, i have 1 on my hatch and i will be picking 1 up for my wife's 08 Lx.

I love there exhaust's.

You don't need a huge 4inch on there either. Match your pipe size. It will run more effiecent and sound much better throughout the rpm range. I put 2.25 piping on my car and have a 2.25 muffler. Both inlet and outlet. Sounds great. I went with the cherry bomb pro series.not loud and has a deep tone. Sounds amazing.

i just uploaded some pics of my car so u guys can see what im with at the moment its none v-tech and full stock so as soon as i get some money ill start working on it

Reportedly the D17 won't go much if any faster upon changing the intake and exhaust. You are just changing the sound.

I will say you can get a decent one on ebay. I got a catback from specdtuning, and it sounds and runs beautifully.
