There are tough times going on right now, but it will pull thru. The United States has a SKILLED labor force. Not too many college degree jobs are being outsourced to other countries. If anything the assembly lines your friends work at should be outsourced.

^ how the hell does that conclude that ej6 is right?

Umm yeah obviously you didn't pick up the sarcasm in my last post cause.. duh.. there are a lot of buisness degrees...

He's not saying you have to work to get your masters to make it... anywhere.... read the whole thread.

He's saying buisness degrees are easy to obtain, and their are levels or degrees.. obviously. I stated that my friend went to Rhode Island (forget the name of college) and majored in strictly accounting.

Thats def true that now a days to get somewhere you need to work towards getting a masters. But how can the "avg joe" afford that process? Unless you obtain a full scholarship, or your mommy and daddy are loaded. Your going to be paying off college loans untill your 50.

Yeah how does it feel?

And how can your statements not be insulting to me and my friend? Blaintly implying that his degree is shallow. This is the last post i'm going to make to this thread cause it's not worth justifying myself.

all i'm saying is: there are more numbers of business degrees out there, therefore, everyone isn't going to receive a business job, but rather a lower level job. and how does this story relate to you?

I think it's also important to understand how long your brother/friend-with-degree have been out of school and in the workforce. A degree/diploma/masters isn't a piece of paper you walk into the employer of your choice with and say "I'll take an $80K job now kthxbai". I understand that these are educated people, but sometimes you have to put in some time "in the trenches" before you get that job that justifies all the money you just spent in school.

Just another viewpoint, perhaps.
