Default Colour coding plastic strips

I have just purchased a '98 Honda Civic 1.4 with the pre-face lift bumpers and as such I would like to colour code the plasticstrips to match with the rest of the paintwork. However, I cannot seem to remove theplastic strips from the front and rear bumbers andalso the side doors. Isthere a technique to removing these or are they simply stuck on?Finally, how are the door handles removed as I would like to spray these as well?

Thanks in advance
Aaron

There are clips holding them in from the back sides of the bumpers if I remember it correctly. And for the doors there are clips on the insides of the doors. You will have to take the door panels off to get to them.

Also, welcome to the forum. Hope you stick around for a bit.

Here you go buddy, this helped me out along time ago. < Its how to take off your door handles, its really easy. For the side moldings you will see a bolt in your door that holds part of it in, the rest is just held in by plastic clips, which will brake if you don't be careful, the front and rear bumper I'm not sure.
