Civics in RallyCross?
Hey I'm new here.
I compete in rallycross and I need a car ASAP because my other one is well... dead. I'm used to driving toyota celicas in rally. I want to try something lighter. For the next event (2 weeks) I just need a light FWD vehicle.
My question to you is.. which would you recommend. There are at least 40 civics in the news paper today.. DX.. EX.. I don't know the difference. For most power, lightest weight, and STRONGEST CHASSIS.. what would you recommend? Also, my budget is about $1000+- but fortunately most of the civic in the paper right now are from $300-$2000.
Any thoughts? Anyone familiar with rallycross?

99-00 Si. but that prolly won't fall into your price range, sooo I'd have to say go with a 92-95 si or ex. Of course your could always see if you can find a CRX those things are light as hell and have loads of potential.

Hey! Are those Enkei 5+?? I have those rims on my 6gen Celica. :-D
CRXs are usually in autocross. I was kinda wondering how they would do in in rallycross.
Are they very low to the ground compared to regular civics?

the crx might be to low for the dirt.... i drove a hyundai accent... it did whell in harder dirts. so it depends how hard the soil is that u are into.i wouldnt recomend a crx simply cause its so light it might get away from you.
