A bodykit won't slow your car down. You buddy at work is a dumbass. Period. I would never listen to him again. Ever.

Bodykits just tend to look like butt. I really really don't recommend them. Get a lip kit and CLEAN rims instead. Much better look and investment.

no cause ur cars blue right? yah keep it that "color" or material color if it actually looks like that and itll look sick on ur civic. Get mugen lips (that ones a mugen), replicas are cheaper but if u want the real deal the jdm ones are pricey. That link that Punisher posted (the one ive been talking about) is a prety nice price too...id buy that if i had the money and the car haha go for it bro!

 

Yes you would want to paint match the lip most likely, or at least spray it black, dont leave it that ugly plastic color like Kenny is suggesting. But paint matched almost always looks better, on your generation civic, DEFINITELY paint match.

 

It looked like carbon fiber when i first looked at it then i looked again and it was plastic so yah paint it black or colormatched. That was my b sorry. Id go with the black but since nothing else on ur car is black i guess u should colormatch then
