Default B18C1 or B18C Type R? Help Please!

Hey guys, I got a wad of money sitting in the bank and now comes the hard part.......making the decision! I either want to do a turbo B18C1 or keep it old school and go all motor B18C Type R. The only problem is that im on the east coast...and there isnt a tuner shop close by. So I would have to send the motor out and have it done according to the application. Also anyone know any good machine shops on the east side that could sleeve and do all the prep work for my turbo motor? All help would be aprechiated, I'm looking for about 300-400 whp for my turbo motor.

Thanks!
Jordon

Default RE: B18C1 or B18C5? Help Please!

it is a tough decision... but to buy a B18C5 and then boost it would probably still be cheeper then the B18C1 by itself.. if not the same price.. and in the end you would spend less overall for the C1 boosted

I'm sorry its not B18C5 its the Type R. I can get the B18C1 GSR for about $2600 and the Type R is gonna cost me $3700. Quite a difference.
