automatic transmission fluid change

so is it simple to change your automatic transmission fluid and the filter as well? is it basically the same as an oil change?

transmission fluid yes, filter no

the filter is an internal filter and in order for it to be changed trans has to be dropped and split,

just change the fluid

My mechanic sells it for about 7.00/qt out the door. Dealership was about 50 cents more.

Yea, dealership is already pretty cheap for transmission fluid. Sometimes you can find a good deal on eBay too, but usually the dealer will be cheaper.
