Default 8th Gen 4 Door LX ... Springs?

Hey peoples,

I want to lower my DD 08 4 door LX and I do not want to get aftermarket struts. I just want a spring that is a little stiffer and around a 1 to 1.5 inch drop at most. Something that won't be bouncy though... I am not familiar with this chassis set-up and don't want to just go buy some random set and have it handle like absolute crap. I am thinking Eibach Pro-Kit? Would that be really bouncy on the 8th gen 4 door?

Thanks for any leads!

I think most people here have older civics. You should check out 8thcivic.com. Try here --> Suspension and Brakes - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum

and this should help: Eibach Sportlines or Tien S-Techs - 8th Generation Honda Civic Forum

I hate when people tell members to go to other forums... We have several members here with 8th gens, and just because alot of us don't own one doesn't mean we can't help with their problems/questions. The forum has been slow enough as is lately, we need as many members as we can get.

By the way, Tein S-Techs are exactly what you are looking for OP. They are right around the exact drop you are looking for, and since it's not extremely low the stock struts will be able to handle it.
