Lip Kit Installation
How to install a lip kit
Most lip kits are the same to install. Very easy and only a few steps
1. Tools needed, drill with drill bits, screw driver and screws, 2 bolts if you want and M3 double sided tape if you want (read on.)
2. Add some double sided M3 tape to the back of the lip kit where the kit contacts the bumper if you want, it keeps it in place, if not, just have someone hold the lip kit in place wile you line up the tabs at the end of it inside your wheel well. Make sure you like the way the kit is position before sticking it on or making the holes.
3. Now you just need to make a SMALL hole with a drill bit on the inside tab through the tab and the bumper, then add a bigger screw in that hole to hold the lip kit to the bumper. For added protection, I added another hole with the drill bit and put in a bolt into, so if someone tries to steal the lip, it will be a little challenge, you could also add rivets which would even add more protection.
That’s pretty much it, a very easy install. This also applies for the rear bumper.
Good luck! Mill$civic
