Just as topic states.. which size throttle body would be good to match with my D series SKunk2 Intake Manifold?? 4 diff sizes.. stock is like 52 if im correct.. Y7 motor.. NA for the time being..

 

N/A I'd say no more than 66, I'm pretty sure S2 makes a 62mm TB; I think that size would be good, bigger, but no too big. If you were going F/I I'd say go 68 or higher.

 

My skunk2 intake mani is 62mm, stock is 56mm. Mine is port matched with a 62mm throttle body, I would do the same if your staying n/a.

 

skunk2 only makes the TB sizes listed above.. port matching IE.. going to a shop and paying them to do this correct? if that is the case wouldnt i be better off just boring out my stock TB rather than wasting money for something that has to be sized anyways? .. Doesnt make sense to me that skunk2 wouldnt make their stuff directly bolt up together..

found BBk Makes 62 MM TB.. would this be the best choice then?

 

The bbk one is nice, I nearly bought it but in the end I just got the 60mm t/b off a B16a2 and bored it to 62mm.

 

skunk 2 manifolds accept i think a 66mm throttle body. so i would go with a 66mm

 

The S2 mani will accept up to 68mm, but that's pushing it...

I also have the S2 mani w/ S2 62mm TB semi portmatched, personally I think that's the best for N/A.

 

If you get 66mm t/b you will have to get the manifold port matched to fit it.

 

Yes i found out the S2 is 62 mm on Manifold.. and like i said .. no they dont make a 62 TB.. makes no sense but.. went ahead and ordered the BBK.. since its already matched
