the h swap will end up costing you about 2000 or2500 even with the motor costing only 1200.
which is still cheaper than most h22 swaps lol (most "complete swap" packages I've seen have been about $2500 once you include shipping).

Anyway, if you decide to go for the swap, you'll still need motor mounts ($400) and new axles ($??? lol)... I'm pretty sure you'll need different axles anyway... if you do the swap, pm me and let me know how it goes... I'm going to be doing an h-swap next summer hopefully.

usually, you need custom axles, custom engine mounts, a lot of wiring, custom fit the shifter hardware. in the end, a typical h22a swap will cost you nearly as much as a typical b18c5 swap.

Do you even have a CLUE?

You are going to have to take the entire driveline of a V8, and make it fit under your Civic chassis. You are going to need to build the trans tunnel, driveshaft tunnel, completely remodify all of the pedal placements and the way the dash is made in the car, cut the body and subframes to pieces in order to fit everything.

In other words, if you have to ask how, you're ****ed.

u might as well do a k20 swap and call it a day. tht should be more than enought power for tht 89 civic

I think most people spend more than three months thinking about that lol... It took me almost a year to choose between an H22 and B18 (now I just have to start saving for the H)
