Thanks Lost. I think I will go with the B16 because I plan on boosting it. How much psi could I run on it?Could I run 10 - 15 psi?
Also with the B16, what car and year would I use to buy parts?

^ that has the B16a2, but if you're gonna swap might as well go all out with an H22 or LS/VTEC or GSR er sooooomethin
but IMO boost the D. Thats waht i'm doing and i'm so excited i've got 145K on my engine and i aint scared

Compression test on the z6, if it checks out okay, boost it till it blows. Then swap out of necessity. Thats how real men roll

I had this same question of whether to swap or turbo mine, i have a D16Y8 which from what i've heard are pretty solid? It has 43k original miles. thinking about a b18 with a b16 head. a buddy told me the b16 head has better flow and obviously higher compression. any comments?
