Yeah... it was sort of like to tool time episode. She did not pay much attention to the lights. She said that the car was working fine.
Regarding the insurance. They are covering the minor front-end damage. For the engine, she needs to pay her self, about 3G's, plus extra if there is any additional damage. Hopefully, she learned her lesson.

I think 3gs is a little bit on the cheap side of an estimate. At the very least she will need a new engine block b/c it was probably melted. She will need to get a new engine from Honda, since she drives an 06 it is gonna be very hard to find a used engine. I'm pretty sure that Honda charges more than 3gs for a brand new engine, since a GSR that has 40k costs about 3k. Then there is dealer labor.
