^ if he dosent know what to look for in the first place, i doubt he know what your talking about.
The VTEC solenoid sits just behind the dizzy and controlls the engagement on the locking pins in the rocker assembly(engages the higher lift rocker arm) aka.VTEC

Just swap a Z6 head on there and it will be good.

what other kinds of heads will fit. Only d series right? what cost are we talking about for this swap?

Z6 is best. Maybe around 300 fer everything.

z6 is definatly the best for a pre 96 car. if your car is obd0 then do the z6 head swap and convert it to obd1. you have way more tuning options available, and its not a hard swap.
