hey guys, i'm tryin to plan the future of my si and have been seein a lot of cars that have the individual throttle bodies...i understand this is a great mod for power, but can someone help me understand how exactly it works and what kind of prices i'm lookin at and mods that are needed tocomplement it?

well, they dont make insane power, btu they deffinaly boost power, and throttle responce. as for implimenting them, you can either buy a kit, or get a set of motorcycle throttle bodys, and cut up your current mani to mate to the throttle bodys.

for the price of an ITB kit, you can make a pretty decent turbo kit. However, if you can get your hands on say gsxr1000 ITBs, (or any bike over 750ccs or so.) you can make it pretty cheaply. You just need a good tune after you put them on. ITBs sound awesome, vtec screams.

ya the one thing though oabout gettin itb's is that it takes a really long time to tune them, but once they are perfectly tuned.....AMAZING!!

if you are looking for more power then yes a turbo is better, for tha amount of money itb's cost. but itb have great throttle response and they sound awsome, but they are hard to tune.

If you boost you can get a Venom or STR intake mani that has runners like ITB's

id say just get an aftermarket intake mani and turbo it add alot more hp

ITBs = headaches for a tuner. I can tune them, but I'd rather not lol.

If ITB's are tuned right they make INSANE power for a N/A mod...plus they sound badass as ****.
