How can I tell with no tachometer??

RE: How can I tell with no tachometer??
Rev til the check engine light comes on.
Actually, it won't let you do any damage to it... rev limiter. Just find the spots that feel like you get the most out of the engine. Remember, Hondas need revs to make power.
Also, no need to worry about doing 80 in 4th. You could prolly do that in 3rd and still be in the rev limit, you'd be way at the top, but prolly still within the limits. My 99 EX redlines at 90 in 3rd.
