Default Fixing up my 2000 Civic EX Automatic

Hi my names Justin Kang and i just got my 2000 Civic EX Auto couple days ago for $3000 with 120,000 miles on it.

I did research on some Mods for my 2000 Civic Ex Auto and all i could find was a powerpage on import tuner... which is dc sport header, 5zigen intake, and weapon r exhaust.
i was wondering if thats a good idea? and if anyone could give me examples of their 2000 Honda Civic EX AUTO Mods
thanks - Justice.

Typical newbie mods are Intake, Header, Exhaust (catback). Won't net much power, but they're easy starter mods to get you accustomed to working on your car.

I highly recommend going for a nice suspension first though. I know it sounds backwards, but you will notice way more improvement and have a lot more fun with suspension than you will with IHE

An Auto to Manual swap should be a high priority too

[sm=bangbang.gif]Duh![sm=youreright.gif]what is a nice suspension and how much would it go for?? i already have TOYO ULTRA 800 PREMIUM TOURING TIRES, and some rims i never even heard of before.

i heard a manual swap is the most expensive thing to do for my car is this that true?
If not how much would it go for?

No. The parts are cheap.

Hahaha, Not even close .

I used to run to Tokico HPK setup on my old Civic, and absolutely loved it. Great compromise between ride quality and performance. Fair price too, I think they go for around $400-500 shipped.

like i said in your suspension thread, tokico 500 shipped, def. the way to go

i also think ihe is a good idea, its def. a good start, but if i were you i would research on what brands you want, everyone has their tastes.

well i know on my 99EX automatic..... the automatic kills the performance feel... header and intake didnt help much at all if anything.... mostly the intake just sounds cooler.

tho does look a hell of alot beter...

Addiction2Bass you make it sound like its pointless to fix up my car might as well just turbo it up or get an engine swap
