Default D15B2 to D15B7 swap

I have recently swapped out my tired D15B2 engine in my '91 Civic, and replaced it with a '93 D15B7 engine. The engine went right in after swapping the varios accessories from the old to the new. I want, for the time being, to retain de OBD1 setup so I transfered the intake manifold (DPFI) from the old engine onto the replacement engine. Someone has told me that the cam timing between these two engines is different and that it will never pass smog if I don't install the D15B2 head onto the replacement engine. At this point, my head is spinning with confusion!!! I really can't see the difference in cam timing, if any. Can I use the cam that is on the D15B7 on this engine if I use the old distributor from the D15B2, or do I have to swap the cam and related valvetrain components, etc?? I need to get it smogged by the end of this month or the whole world will come crashing down on me. PLEASE HELP!!!

Informed comments from knowledgeable individuals are very much appreciated.

Cheers to all.
