Default B18 or Bust

Hi guy's,

I'm looking into buying a 1993 Honda Civic DX HB with stock engine. I've looked around but I can't find any info on if I can put a b18 in this model civic. I know that they sell engine mounts for different types of swaps, but I couldn't find info on this year of car and engine. Any ideas??? Or recommendations for a better engine for this car. Thanks

I want to race it eventually, but it will also be a daily driver. I want to start out with a good base and build from that. Mods will come as the back pocket allows. What I don't want is an engine that has been modded into a sohc Vtech. I want the real deal to start with. As you can see I'm new to all this. Any recommendations are welcome.

I have nothing productive to add. Just wanted to post a sohc that you will probably never touch.

Solid lines are race gas tune at 28psi, and dotted lines are pump gas tune at 15-16psi.

Get a B18A1 or B and you will get some more power and torque, a good base for a boosted car, and it wont be that expensive
