Maybe i should be more specific im open to an all motor situation, and turbo alike if there is a good way to make that all motor im there but if turbo is the only way i wanna know before i start looking at parts. as for peicing a turbo if i go that way hey thats fine I have spent the last few years putting v8's in japanese cars and we build em cheap and quick, but hondas are new to me. I also am a fabricator by trade so if you know of any tips or tricks that a clever man can do to pull more ponys let me know.

RE: 225hp daily driver?
well ok from your answers I take it thats out of the question, I was really wondering whats what in the realm of possibilities when it comes to the car. I am buying a b18 vtec this upcoming week and im really into a 215-225 daily driver, I guess im lamenting the fact that my ex wifes still driving MY wrx and im looking for a streetable replacement that doesnt kill me in gas. I just want cmfortable car that starts reliably every time and i can pass on the highway with a small grin. so what am i looking at money wise for a 220 daily driven b18 that wont cost more than 5k invested, i didnt want to spend that much but i can if need be.

b20 bottom and b18 head. lots of ppl run the b18 turboed with stock internals evidently they hold up well to boost, you would not need to get crazy on the boost to get a b18 up to 200 215, and rember the civic is alot lighter then the wrx. if you want good milage i would look into the run out on the various trannys available for the b- series and pick one with good final gear run out and a good spacing for 4th gear passes with 215 HP i dont think you will run into any issues with acceleration even in a high gear. And as far as off the line, there are not many wrx that i have tangeld with even with my wimpy little d15 that could get the jump on me. Taken into consideration that most of the ppl driving thoes cars know didly crap about how to drive, let alone how to drag with a boosted car and mitigate the boost lag off the line. and rember its not the car that wins or losses its the driver, and very little of that has to do with HP.
