1995 Honda civic dual turbos??
I am posting because my friend has a 1995 Honda Civic BONE-STOCK
and would like to purchase a dual turbo kit.
Now my questions are
1. What parts might he need to upgrade to accomadate for the turbos?
2. What kind of performance gains would he expect ?
3. Who sells a complete kit with an intercooler that would be bolt-on V. chopping up the engine bay?
Thank you for the help....

RE: 1995 Honda civic dual turbos??
dont think you can do that... twins are used becuase they can compress more air out of an l6 or a v6 or 8 or whatever. but since hondas only l4s, there wont be enough air, you might be able to get them spinnign but the lag would be way up there so it wouldnt be worth it. i might be wrong... but ive NEVER seen it done... and also so you wont have any room.

I don't think that anyone makes a twin turbo kit for Civic engines. You can put a twin turbo on an I type engine, look at the Supra. However, since the civic only has a 4 cylinder engine there i don't think there is going to be enough exhaust to spool up two turbos. A twin turbo is not the only way to make big numbers. You can go with a single turbo that will make lots of power for your. However, to make lots of power you can't simply throw a turbo kit onto your car. This will give you some gains. This will prolly be able to take you to 200-250 HP. If you want to go for more power your stock engine will not be able to take the abuse.

i know its been done. i think Caleb had a friend or something that was working on a custom kit. it would be hard to fit all that under the hood of a honda and nobody makes a kit for it...but it would be sweet in the end. and unlike someone said earlier in this thread...two smaller turbos will push out the same power and spool a lot faster than one bigger turbo. thats the whole point of twin turbos...power with less lag time.

cmon you guys dont remember this http://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/i...;threadid=9421
but to answer the origional questions, you can boost a stock engine regardless of what it is as long as you upgrade the fuel managment. you can make more hp going with a single turbo set up, this is the whole reason your dont see a whole lot of tt set ups on high hp cars. and nobody that i know of sells a tt kit for our cars.
