RE: ek turbo b16A swap
yea. i'm wondering if theres a local speed shop that would supply me with vaccum/oil lines and whatnot to complete a kit. or would it be easier to buy a kit all together (even though much more $)

very easy to piece together a kit. t3 and td04 turbos are a dime a dozen, just make sure that there is no shaft play, yada yada yada, look for one that is rebuilt. johnnyracecar.com for a cheap intercooler, and find a weld shop or something and look for 2.5 inch aluminum piping for i/c piping. manifold=ebay. build urself a missing link, an adjustable fpr, boost controller, bov, and u should be in business. please keep in mind that this is really cheap, and really kind of stupid. im not flaming, but you will be much better off (especially since your going off to college) if you go ahead and swap, do it right, and maybe grab a few mods, (i would do cams, pistons, rods, exhaust, intake, and aebs intake manifold. this will help to set you up on the right path (depending on the c/r of the pistons) and will make ur car much more reliable in the long run, which will be important. check out homemadeturbo.com and see how many of their cars are running vs how many are blown up
