Default d16y8auto to b18b1 standard?

So this would be my first swap if I decide to go through with it. I can either rebuild my d16y8 and convert my car to standard or do the b18b standard swap. My friend told me to wait and get a b18c1 after i save more money but I miss having the civic on the road. What parts would I need to do the swap and about how much will all the parts run? I already found the motor and trans for around $700 together. Also since im swapping to standard which car do i have to yank parts off of ,Civic or integra?

I cannot tell much about the B swap as I have not done it. I will assume your car is an EK. Supposedly the B Swap is a bolt on swap since the mounts for a B/D are pretty much the same on EK chassis. What I am confused about is that I read you need one or two brackets if you want to keep AC or something like that. You should do some reading about it. I also read that you might need the shift linkage from the Integra because its longer. ( Again I have just been skimming thru threads and post about the swap so you should do you own homework.)

As far as the auto to manual swap (I did this myself) I believe as long as you get all the parts from Integra then you should be fine. When I did my swap I kept my engine. You just have to cut some passageway on the chassis where the auto shifter cable goes through and do some wiring to the clutch pedal.
