it depends...if u wanna turbo out ur car with a b18..u should go wit a b18c1(gsr)..not a b18c5(type-r). type r has high compression..u will probably get more wit a gsr swap!...the same thing for u poly...its a b series. u gotta get a complete change over.

I knew a guy with a built B18C(type r) and was boosted making sick *** power. You get certain things with the C5 you would have to pay alot of money to get done to the C1. A hand assembled head to exact specs that flows great and has nice bump sticks in it stock, also the Type R block itself is braced internaly better than the other B18's to cope with a 7500 to 9000rpm power range needed because it is a race inspired engine.
