b16 vs. ls/vtec

RE: b16 vs. ls/vtec
i know Hasport has them, and i think Painless might make one. and the LS is a decent motor for sure, and has a lot of potential, but it just doesnt like a Vtec redline (or a poorly done oiling system in a headswap)

if it is a 97 it has obd 2. Obd1 was discontinues in 95. It would have obd2a or obd2b which is better i don't know. but if you want better tunability get an ecu adapter from www.boomslang.us and go obd2 to obd1.

RE: b16 vs. ls/vtec
it all depends on your preference. they will run pretty close to the same times, but the b16s power is higher up. i like high redlines, but a lot of peopel like low-end torque, so its mostly up to your preferences. and use the tranny for the engine you have. LS-LS and B16-B16. unless you can get a type r trans, because it has an LSD.
