Default 2000 Civic EX direct swap

Hey guys need your help. I just got a 2000 Honda Civic Ex with the D16Y8 SOHC Vtec engine. I got the car for free with a blown motor. As far has a direct bolt in swap which is the better motor? Just stick with the y8 or maybe go with the z7? I'm just looking to get the car running again and not really looking to build it up so thats why I'm only looking for a direct bolt in swap. Still have the integra coming out with a fully built LS supercharged engine this summer so the civic I just want to get running again. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

if you just want it running just get another d16y8. You can probably get them for around $600-700

the y8 would probably be easiest way, i would like to know this too, like if you can direct swap y7 or something in it because i just replaced mine. i bought a used y8 for $900 with a four month warrenty. on east coast you will pay on the high side of the triple digits for a good one. if you can find one for the price the guy says above jump on that imidiately. y7's are less of coarse ive seen them with warrenties $500-800 and would like to know if it can direct swap with a civic that previously ran y8-vtec. it would be a much more cost efficient *sp* if anything happens to my motor again.
