Default mini me

Anybody got any good info on a mini me swap for a d15b7? I've looked around a lil bit and all I can pretty much find is stuff on doing this swap on a crx. A link or anything really would be great. Thanks.

its basically the sme thing as on a crx, just the wiring is different. you should be able to do it with those instructions. also, go check out Honda-tech.com, do a search and they have a writeup on it.

All you need is a D16z6 sohc vtec head, ecu and all the wiring. voila, mini me. Honda-tech.com and hondaswap.com have tons of information on it.

the d16z6 head will work just fine, but try to get the d16y8 head, it will raise the compression about .5 over that of the z6, making a lot more power. its a little more expensive but well worth it. also, try to get the y8 intake manifold too, its considered the Type R manifold of the d-series engines, it flows way better than any of the others.

yeah, it should all be close enough, the only thing that might be different is the wiring, since the z6 is OBD1 and the y8 is OBD2. i think it depends more on the ecu youre using though.
