it all depends on what you want, with the k20, you'll get newer technology and design with less miles than what you have, but the swap will be a pain, and you'll have to piece together all of those parts.

A couple of my buddies have done a kswap. One was in a crx and the other an eg. Both of them took FOREVER to finish, but they did the swaps themselves piece by piece. The eg was a show car so he got everything at retail brand spankin new and the crx basically picked up stuff as he got the money. Both guys spent close to 8k though but thats after 4500 for the motor alone. So about 3500 for all the mounts, harness, axles, manifold, ecu, and all the rest of the hardware you need. Not bad really. I think they got the k20a from the type s though. Thats why it was 4500 prolly. I would kill for that powerband, but i don't have the cashflow for that hot swap. I say, if you have the $$$ go for it bro. Ks are sick in egs or eks - ks are sick in whatever you put them in. Good luck man.
