How to determine exactly which motor I have?
I know, it sounds like a dumb question. However, I recently bought a nice 93 Civic DX and am still learning all the ins and outs of civics. I plan on reading up on some of the history, specs, etc. of Honda Civics (by the way, where can I find info such as this?).
Anyway, I plan on doing an engine swap at some point in time not sure when though as the motor I have right now is pretty good. Though, bigger is always better! I have no idea on how to find the specific information for this particular model.
Thanks!
Mike

Welcome to the forum!
try looking on here for some basic specs... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_C..._generation%29
and the engine code stamp should be in the same place as this one...(where the engine meets the transmission) http://asia.vtec.net/topics/engcode1.jpg
except the motor is probably a different one... lol
