I have a B16a2 as stock, can i directly drop a B18c in there and mate it up to the B16 transmission/gearbox and everything else. Note that i will change the ECUtothe B18c oneas well

the tranny should because its from a b series. I think you need to change the axles. Not sure if you can use the b16 axles.

What B18C is it, (GSR or ITR) and what year?

The only way the axles wouldn't fit is if you got a later JDM ITR transmission, because those came with 36mm axles instead of 32mm axles (all other B-series hydro transmissions use the same axles)

If it's a GSR you would need to hook up the IAB wiring

id most likely be using a GSR because the blocks are cheaper - i plan on NA or turbo building it anyway

and what do you mean by:

"hook up the IAB wiring" - is this complicated, and where can i learn to do it (google was un-helpful)

would this not be required with an ITR B18c then?

The GSR intake manifold uses two different length runners and will switch between the two depending on what RPM you are at. Honda calls it "Intake Air Bypass"

Your stock witing harness is not set up for the IAB system.

Is IAB not important then if i change the intake manifold, i plan on usinga Skunk2 Pro series

Do the B18c6 ITR intake manifolds and ECUs use the IAB system?

Only the GSR manifolds use the IAB system. The ITR manifolds (and Skunk2) do not.
