1995 Honda Civic EX
Dudes and dudettes out there I have a question. I'm about to buy a black 1995 Honda Civic Ex for only a g. And I don't want to be putting-putting around town like the local old folkes. So I thought hell why not do a engine and tranny swap, yes it's a automatic. So can anyone out there tell me the best type of street/track engine I drop into this sweet looking Civic? Also does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Sniper body kit well atleast the front of it?

I don't do body kits.
Read the Sticky in the EG Swaps section for a little more info on your choices, but you will be the bomb motor in there already. Rock the D, bro. Take the money you would spend on a swap and booooost it.

I got a 95 EX with a single cam boosted running 12.8's in the 1/4. 217 Hp and 222 Ft. Lbs. Torque. Not much on the street can touch it. Like Street Sniper said, take your money and put it into the D-series. Swap your tranny though, it's easy enough to do in a weekend.

I also got a 95 EX and been wondering if its really worth putting turbo?...does it require any extra maintenance?

I assume you've got built internals. what series D are you running, and at how much boost? I was considering boosting, but I've heard you need internals and can't boost it too much on a stock motor. I've got a D15B7, so, hahaha I know you guys are laughing, but i love this baby. it's got 155000 on it and no problems or oil leaks whatsoever(sp). what would the chances of boosting be with my set up? I've heard no more than 6 psi stock which woudn't be worth the 2-3 grand to get and install and only run @ 6psi. let me know thatnks guys
