alright..i was told that when swapping any type r motor ctr or itr..into a civic u have to go 5 lug type r suspension spindles everything...i already have a obd 0 b16 into my ef..and was getting the b16b and put it into my car...is this true?..i find it no reason to go five lug..are the axles in the type r bigger?...am i gonna go thru any other problems?.. what else should i get for the swap..help plz

no need for the 5lug conversion......slap the **** outta who told you that please. you might want to convert to obd1 and have someone burn you a b16b program and chip your ecu. do you have this b16b laying around or do you still have to pick one up? the cost factor sucks imo and i would recomend putting that money into your current b16. although it is nice to say " ive got a ctr motor bish".

oh really?...i was just gonna keep it obd2..thats a dam relief tho..cause this kid was talkin about that i have to go five lug...i was like wtf?!..thats a first i heard..i can't put any more money into this motor..to much problems..tranny got cracked..and oil pan..v tec not kickin in as good...and i wud love the fact is wen my friends ask me what motor i have i could say TYPE R..=D....so there is no need to go type r suspension and go five lug right?...theres nothing special i need to swap it into my ef right?..

you could just drop the b16b in there and run off the obd0 ecu. you never ever want to convert to obd2. it wont be perfect but it will run. use the obd0 distributor and you should be fine.
