b series swap
#13
sorry that last idea came from me really looking into honda, like how there really is a g series engine and its an inline 5, and that the f and h series have an awd tranny.
i'm most likely just ging to do a b18/b20 swap for now and keep looking into awd, im really hoping to build an awd civic for fun.
for the engine swap ill have round 1500 for now to drop into it, so i thought an easy b swap, then later trying to go awd once ive found the parts and know how

i just looked at my posts and see what you mean, right now i have 2 projects, the 91 civic and the 46 continental.
the civic is going to be done first due to ease and cost, after its done ill work on the lincoln, and maybe pick up an old accord as well

If you have $1500 a nice B swap can be done. Are you doing the swap or paying someone to do it? LS swaps can be had for under a $1000 pretty easily in most areas. And if you happen to have a pull-a-part in your area, 4 cyl motors are only a $100. I have seen like 6 LS Integras go through my pull-a-part with under 120k miles. And if you can get a motor that cheap, do a mild re-build, you still have plenty left over.
