Default a6 block with z6 head question

i have recently done the mini me sawp using the a6 block with the z6 head..... and it works great! smoth power, vtec working and every thing! but i only have one problem... when i first crank my car up in the morning (when its bone cold) it runs fine until i get going down the raod and then the check engine light will come on. so ill turn the car off and switch it back on and its fine!!!!!! the only thing i can think of is when i did the obdo to obd1 conversion i think i might have wired up the 4 wire o2 sensor wrong>>... any suggestions?

Hey, welcome to HCF, Dj.

Did you pull the code? If you have it wired up wrong you should get a "43". That's what it sounds like if you are getting it down the road becasue 4-wire o2 sensors throw the code when they get warmed up.

Well, if you haven't reset the ECU yet it stores any codes. Turn the key to "on" and you will get a CEL blink to let you know that there is a code stored. After that it will blink out a number. It will be long blinks for the first digit, and then a series of shorter blinks for the second digit, and then it will repeat.

Example: bliiiink, bliiiink, bliiiink, bliiiink.... blink, blink, blink = 43

Does that make sense?
