vtec controller with chipped ecu
hey, whats up guys. im thinking about buying a apexi vtec controller but my question is, with my chipped ecu (running the best map for my car) will it show me any gains at all? any feedback is greatly appriciated, thanks guys.

not unless you add FI or something. the V-AFC is basically a chip that you can adjust. thats not really a good technical explanation, but it gets the point across. so unless the dynamics of your engine have changed significantly, you dont need a controller.

im going to put a t3 turbo in it this summer, and ill need a boost controller for that, so i wouldnt ever need a vtec controller?
or would v-afc and the boost controller be able to run simutaniously?

boost controller controls the boost. youll need a piggyback (like a VAFC) to control the fuel system also. and i wouldnt bother with a T3, just get a T25, it will spool quicker, and make plenty of power on a stock motor.
