Default Sea Foam

Will i used it.... It been almost 30 min... i still see smoke coming out! Should i just wait it out cause i really cant drive it with all that smoke. How lond does it usually take?
The car has 112k miles on it. Got it use at a deal not sure if it has ever had a tune-up lol.

Are you reving it? Thats what i did. Reved it a few times then took it around my neigbor hood.

How did you do it?

When i did mine i sucked 1/3 in the intake vacuum tube. Turn the car off. Let it sit for about five minutes. Started it and reved it a few times then drove it.

i did the same thing but had alot more smoke. Ok i just ran it really hard down a closed road. the smoke is gone but i still kinda feel the drag then it takes of. i dont kno if i should get another treatment for it our just get a new fuel filter.

If its a 2000 si it should be alright. Just give it a little time. I wish i had a 99-00 si. Gosh.

i hope so... this is like my project car. got it at a good deal cause it was in an accedent... then got stolen... so yea if you look you can find one too

but just throwing this out there i didn't see a DIY for changing a fuel filter... some one should make one cause i wanna do it and dont feel like pay out the @$$ for it

Fuel pump of fuel filter? Filter is cake.... Pump requires a little more work.

thx alot man. the only thing is that i really dont kno which one is the problem . It could even be draging like that cause the car is running rich. Think the previous owner might have boosed it and took off the turbo before he sold it cause i can smell the fuel in the car when i drive and for the people behind me... i feel sorry for them. I dont kno where to start to fix . I want to just give up and take it to get tuned up which it needs anyway.
