Remove the Governor

Default Remove the Governor

Hey i was wondering if there is a way to remove the governor in a 90 civic dx without chipping

forget removing the governer and spend the money on something else. intake, tint, suspension, etc.

Honestly. How often are you going to be going faster than 100 mph? And don't try to say you are going to turn it into a race car because if that were the case you should be a great mechanic and know how to take the governor off. Lol I dont know why I assume you would say that. Just incase I guess.

definately spend the money on something else, buti do believe you have an OBD1 ECU, so getting it chipped to remove the governor wouldnt be that big of a deal (cost/timewise)

But unless your runnin your car at the track, take it easy on the streets. no need for 100+
