Oh I will not pay $150 for a stock ecu either, that is a stupid high price.

Its not a stupid high price.

First off, I have sold these for 150 before. Sure they come cheaper but I guarantee mine to work and be untouched.

Besides, that is about 100 bucks less the biggest Honda Acura junkyard here charges

These are gaining more and more value all the time cause unchipped ones are getting more and more rare. People are getting tired of buying the chipped one on ebay and finding that some idiot owned it and decided to do the chip himself and did a horrible job.

This one has very low miles. also, when I put out an asking price I usally expect it to be followed up by an offer, thats normally how selling things online goes.

Sacs spent months looking for his GSR one and finally found a good one and paid over 200 for it.

I just don't get what the p28 craze is all about. There are other ecus that can do the same thing once chipped and tuned, that can be had for less.

It is a stupid high price for me, you will never see me pay over $100 shipped for that ecu. P06, P08, P30, P72 are all ecu's that can do the same thing. I am not talking trash but the reason these things are so high is because people gouge the hell out of the prices not because they are rare or hard to find. I mean really how many 92-95 civic ex's and si's are there

It all depends on what you want it for. Sacs needs his for smog cause the JDM wont pass.

Hard to find untouched ones cause every kid who has a civic has some domistic driving freinds tell him to chip it or the noob jumps on ebay and sees a chip for his civic that adds 20+ HP for like 20 bucks shipped.

SO I think they are hard to find cause the people who dont need them anymore usally swapped motors and the people who ended up swapping motors usally had the chip. Or the car is wrecked and I see alot of modded civics wrecked so the unchipped ecus are still doing their job in grandmas civic and since civs last so damn long they wont end up in the recycler anytime soon. At least thats my theory
