i wanted to know how do you install a msd blaster 2 coil on 93 civic HB 1.5l engine? bec ause the stock coil is under the dist. cap! and if installed is there any danger i need to be aware of? i have ngk plugs and 9 mm wires and a new dist cap asnd rotor

 

you need to remove the stock coil, and get a msd cap or convert your cap to excpet an external coil. you also need to cut and solder 2 wires that go to the coil (not sure which ones) and run them outside the dizzy cap to the blaster coil.

but on a stock engine it won't do much at all, especially without a matching msd ignition system.

 

yea! so it realy wouldnt be worth buying the new coil unless i purchased an msd ingition system? ann another ? at autozone they have a Dist cap and it comes with 2 rotors and its made by Mr. gasket! any input on that?
