Immobiliser to keep car from being STOLEN
I was trying to figure out the best way to immobilise my car so it couldn't get stolen. I want to shut down the ignition system as well as the fuel system (since manuals can be push started).
I came across this great easy DIY system that will do all that and the would-be-thief cannot find the switch, therefore cannot start the car even if you leave your key in the car.
You can buy all the parts at a Radio Shack for probably less than $30.

If you want the best one, and inexpensive, check out my post about it. I would connect it to both your ignition and your fuel pump and your car will always stay put.

absoulute - When I helped my buddy wire one of these in to his car (wasn't a Honda), we wired it up to the wire going to the starter relay (under the hood), and also wired it up to the fuel pump (under the rear seat). This way, if a thief tried hot-wiring your ignition, they wouldn't be able to do it from inside the car, and even i they found out they had to hot-wire it from under the hood and did eventually get the car started, it would run outa fuel at the end of the driveway.
