How do I fix a headlight socket?
During a front end collission, the socket at the end of the wire where the front headlight bulb is placed was cracked and does not work anymore. How do I fix that? Do I need to solder a new socket in or do I just replace the whole wire/socket? Cops here are crazy. I got 2 tickets in 2 days for having one headlight..

If I understood you correctly it's the one with three slots in it that the bulb is inserted into. If it is so there's probably a loose contact in there...try squeezing it tight and see if it'll work(duct tape works here). If this doesnt work get a new socket and the obvious: are you sure the bulb you have is working?>

RE: How do I fix a headlight socket?
Aight. I went to Kragen and picked up a headlight socket, and a new bulb. I crimped the 3 wires together and it worked. It was weird because I called earlier in the day and they said they didn't have it. THen I visited in person and they magically had it. I think the guy over the phone was being lazy and just saying they didn't have it. I think everyone who works retail has done that at one time or another. So lesson learned. Always go in person if possible..thanks for the help
