heck engine light on, finally traced it to a bad ground casuing a bunch of seGrounding Points
Can anyone tell me where the grounding points are on a 1.6 sohc vtec engine are from a 99 civic ex 5 speed. A ground somewhere according to the dealership techs is casuing a bunch of sensors ( the intake air temp sensor, tps sensor ect, to act up . False readings of being faulty. Other symptoms are very hard to start when its cold wet or hasnt been run in a couple of hours. The motor had been taken out couple of monthes ago and rebuilt, since then its been a bitch to start as well as drive. Im told a bad ground causes the vtech solanoid to act up as well its like hitting a rev limiter when vtecs supposed to engage. If anyone else has had or is having a similar problem let me know pls.

heres the basic locations of a few of them. its just a wire that connects the engine block to the chassis.
