Default fmu? missing link?

im getting ready to boost my 93 ls motor. the motor is in a 91 hb. ive heard that i need to get a missing link and a fmu for the car. first off, whats a fmu? second, whats the missing link? third, do i need to get the fmu and missing link for the 91 or the 93? and last, what do they do, and where do they install?

I would not advise using either of those things on your boost app. Get some good fuel management and get it tuned.

fmu=blown motors. run away from them. i had one on my car for couple days and my car ran like complete s***. after taking advice from the guys on this forum i got my ecu chipped and tuned. car runs amazing now.

uberdata, crome or neptune are good ones. if i had the extra loot i would go hondata.

what do mean "average upgrade"?

what i mean by average upgrade would be what does the "average consumer" normally purchase?

Buya GM 3 Bar MAP sensor. Just go to a local tuner and have them chip your p28 with whatever theyre best with. Most likely will be uberdata, chrome or if youre lucky, NEPTUNE.

depends how much boost your running, you might not even need to get a new map. Im at 10 on CROME, and dident have to change out anything
