Default Electronic Programmers? and Engine Performance

Hey guys, I'm looking to get an 00-03 Civic auto 4 cylinder. I don't know much about civics, I just know they get good fuel mileage and that is what I'm looking for. I want to slightly modify the car to improve the already great fuel mileage it gets. Who makes good programmers or what kind of popular electronic tuning is out there for civics? Thanks for the help.

Find a different way to get better gas mileage. The programming from the factory is set for fuel economy. If you try to make it get any better mpg by tuning it you're gonna lean it out and blow the engine.

Plus, there's no way to tune it... except for a piggyback unit but I don't think those are gonna let you pass smog.

Alrite thanks, I thought that since they make em for trucks and diesels then they would have em for civics. Haha funny thing about that smog, even though I don't live in CA, the inspection ticket I got for my truck was for removing my cats. The citation was for "excessive noise".
